The Georgia Bulldogs have five-star quarterback Jared Curtis committed in the 2026 recruiting class. So, the Bulldogs can afford to look ahead to 2027 behind center.
According to On3's Jeremy Johnson, Georgia already has a signal-caller in mind for that recruiting cycle.
"[Teddy] Jarrard is still an ascending prospect in the junior class. Mike Bobo has had eyes on him for some time. He added the offer to his collection over the weekend," wrote Johnson on Tuesday.
Jarrard has a unique connection to the Bulldogs program through his uncle.
"His uncle Cory Phillips was a Georgia quarterback. Jarrard has always respected Georgia; the connections are natural," Johnson wrote. "He has been going through the process with the schools that he has offers from.
"Now that Georgia has offered, Jarrard will be a name to monitor moving forward."
Phillips spent four seasons with the Bulldogs from 1999-2002. The former quarterback appeared in 18 games for Georgia, including nine during his sophomore season.
In those 18 appearances, Phillips completed 55.3% of his passes for 1,378 yards with 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Georgia has jumped into the race for 2027 4⭐️QB Teddy Jarrard. The North Cobb star has a lot of connections to the program. He’s ready to take a real look at Georgia now that he has the offer. #GoDawgs

Standing at 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, Jarrard attends North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Georgia. That should only add to his connection with the Bulldogs.
According to the 247 Sports composite rankings, Jarrard is ranked the No. 15 quarterback in the 2027 recruiting class. The North Cobb quarterback is also the No. 29 Georgia prospect and No. 213 overall recruit in the class.
Jarred has already received interest from other schools as well. On Wednesday, Jarred posted on X the Kentucky Wildcats made him an offer.
