Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs have been very active on the recruiting trail this summer, extending yet another offer to a prospect in the 2026 recruiting class.
Herly Brutus, a 6'5 small forward from Umatilla, FL, announced on social media Wednesday he received an offer from Gonzaga, with the Zags joining a long list of suitors that includes Maryland, LSU, Ole Miss, Florida State, South Florida, Saint Louis, Rice, and East Carolina, among others.
Brutus is Gonzaga's fourth reported offer in the 2026 class, joining five-star point guard Ikenna Alozie, four-star center Sam Funches, and four-star small forward Cameron Holmes.
The Zags are also known to be in pursuit of Tyran Stokes, the No. 1 ranked recruit in the 2026 class, although a formal offer has not been reported.

Brutus has been rising up the rankings nationally, coming in at No. 66 in On3's updated class rankings and No. 71 on 247Sports' composite ranks.
The small forward has been playing AAU ball in Memphis, and averaged 18.6 points per game while shooting an outstanding 45.5% from beyond the arc.
Boasting excellent length and athleticism, Brutus impacts the game on both ends of the floor and has improved his offensive versatility as of late - operating not only as an elite outside shooter but as a connector and slasher.
To date his recruitment has primarily been local, with South Florida and Florida State showing him in-state love, but Gonzaga has a strong connection to the state of Florida with assistant coach RJay Barsh, and could make a strong push to bring the rising four-star forward out west to Spokane.
Gonzaga is looking to bring in a strong class of freshmen to propel them forward in their first year in the Pac-12, which will begin in the 2026-27 season.
