Hunter Dickinson's career in Lawrence, Kansas with the Jayhawks has come to a close, fueling speculation about where the former Michigan Wolverines standout will end up next.
Dickinson has taken plenty of heat for the Jayhawks' rough end to their season in the NCAA Tournament, a feeling he attempted to diffuse with humor on Saturday night as he watched the Duke Blue Devils fumble their lead away to the Houston Cougars.
"That ending just gave me some terrible flashbacks," Dickinson wrote with a laughing and crying emoji.

Dickinson's message was followed up 15 hours later with a retweet of a message from one of his legendary former coaches that appeared to calm and delight the 7-foot-1, 265 pound native of Alexandria, Virginia.
"Always great seeing my guy, Hunter Dickinson," former Michigan assistant and St. Joseph's Hawks head coach Phil Martelli said.

Dickinson averaged 17.4 points this season with the Jayhawks, 1.2 points less than his career high with Michigan in 2021-2022.
He will have an uphill battle to prove he belongs in the NBA next season with questions about his mobility and ability to guard quicker players at the professional level remaining.
Dickinson played three seasons with the Wolverines and two with Kansas, cementing himself as one of the most prolific players in college basketball.
