Jordan Geronimo entered the transfer portal on Wednesday after three years at Indiana.

Geronimo, a 6-foot-6, 225-pound forward, started six games and made 21 appearances off the bench in 2022-23. He played 12.4 minutes per game, averaging 4.2 points, 2.4 rebounds 0.9 blocks and with a 54.8 field goal percentage. In 82 games across three seasons, he made 18-of-58 3-point attempts, or 31.0 percent.

When veteran forward Race Thompson was out with a knee injury, Geronimo played a key starting role in wins over Wisconsin on Jan. 14 and at Illinois on Jan. 19. Recording his second-career double-double, Geronimo scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as Indiana defeated Wisconsin 63-45. In an 80-65 at Illinois, he scored 13 points with eight rebounds and three blocked shots.

As a sophomore in 2021-22, Geronimo was an integral part of Indiana's 66-58 win over Wyoming in the NCAA Tournament First Four round. Scoring a career-high 15 points and seven rebounds off the bench, Geronimo helped Indiana win its first NCAA Tournament game.

Former Indiana coach Archie Miller recruited Geronimo to Bloomington for the 2020-21 season. He was considered a four-star recruit, ranked No. 105 in the class of 2020 out of St. Paul's School in Concord, N.H.

Geronimo is now the fourth player to transfer out of Indiana, joining sophomore guard Tamar Bates, sophomore center Logan Duncomb and senior forward Nathan Childress.

Indiana loses Trayce Jackson-Davis, Race Thompson and Miller Kopp to graduation, and Jalen Hood-Schifino is projected to be a first-round NBA Draft pick, though he has not announced a decision yet. Indiana is also waiting to see if senior point guard Johnson's request for a medical hardship waiver is approved, which would allow him to play a sixth collegiate season next year.

As of Wednesday night, Indiana has added one player to its roster for the 2023-24 season, Ball State transfer forward Payton Sparks. Coach Mike Woodson is expected to be active in the transfer market this offseason, already meeting with  Nick Timberlake from Towson, Chris Ledlum from Harvard, Kadin Shedrick from Virginia, Jamison Battle from Minnesota and more.
