Indiana continues to be involved with guards in the transfer portal.

The latest one is Deyton Albury, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound guard from Queens University of Charlotte, a program in the Atlantic Sun Conference.

Albury averaged 17 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.2 steals per game, and he shot 48.2% from the field, 36.4% from 3-point range and 75% at the free throw line. He was named to the third team All-Atlantic Sun and received the Atlantic Sun Newcomer of the Year Award. Albury began his career at Chipola College, a junior college in Marianna, Fla., and he has one year of remaining eligibility.

Albury's list of reported suitors includes Indiana, Kansas State, Florida Atlantic, UCF, Virginia Tech, Samford, Akron, New Mexico State, North Texas, Sam Houston and others, according to On3's Joe Tipton.

Albury is originally from Nassau, Bahamas, but he spent part of his high school career at Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kansas, and Believe Prep Academy in Rock Hill, S.C.

Check out Albury's highlights below.

Albury shot a solid 36.4% from three in his lone season at Queens, but he's not a high-volume perimeter shooter. He attempted 55 3-pointers in 32 games, compared to 333 attempts inside the arc. 68% of Albury's field goal attempts came at the rim, where he shot 50.2 percent.

Albury scored 20-plus points in 11 games this season, including a season-high 29 points at North Alabama and a 23-point performance at Duke.

Indiana lost senior point guard Xavier Johnson to graduation and sophomore shooting guard CJ Gunn to the transfer portal, opening minutes at various guard positions. That currently leaves Trey Galloway, Anthony Leal and Gabe Cupps as the remaining guards on Indiana's 2024-25 roster.

Heading into his fourth season, coach Mike Woodson has six scholarships to fill. And without any high school commitments, most of that work will likely be done by adding transfers.
