The Kansas Jayhawks announced on Wednesday they will play the Will Wade-led NC State Wolfpack in a non-conference game set for Dec. 13, according to Fox Sports Radio Host Aaron Torres.
Last season, when the two schools faced off in Allen Fieldhouse in Kansas on Dec. 14, 2024, the Jayhawks defeated the Wolfpack 75-60. Former Kansas center Hunter Dickinson had a 21-point and 14-rebound double-double to help his team secure the victory.
NC State’s leading scorer was Ben Middlebrooks, who scored 14 points and had eight rebounds. Heading into their second meeting in two seasons, both rosters look quite different.

Jayhawks head coach Bill Self built a new-look roster, which includes five-star recruits Bryson Tiller and Darryn Peterson. Self, who is in his 22nd year of coaching, also added four-star recruits Samis Calderon, Corbin Allen, Jaden Nickens and Flory Bidunga.
Meanwhile, Wade revamped the Wolfpack’s roster by bringing in Zymicah Wilkins and Matthew Able. Heading into his first season as NC State’s head coach, Wade convinced transfers Darrion Williams and Jayme Kontuniemi to join his team.
The Jayhawks also plan to play a Champions Classic game in New York on Nov. 18 against the Duke Blue Devils and the Players Era Championship in Las Vegas from Nov. 23-29. Kansas is also set to take on the North Carolina Tar Heels on Nov. 14 and the Missouri Tigers. The Missouri matchup's date, place and time have yet to be announced.
Wade and NC State have yet to release much on their non-conference game schedule except for when they take on Self’s Jayhawks.
