Jaland Lowe was a major player on the transfer portal market. He's now found his new home, as he's reportedly committed to Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats.
Lowe has been at Pitt for the last two seasons, as he committed to the Panthers as a four-star recruit out of Missouri City, Texas, as part of Pitt's 2013 class. He was ranked as the No. 14 point guard in the 2023 class, according to 247Sports.
He averaged 9.6 points in 26.5 minutes per game as a freshman but really took off for Pitt last season. He played in 31 games and started every single one of them. Averaging 35.5 minutes per game, Lowe notched 16.8 points, 5.5 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals per contest.
For his efforts, he was given third-team All-ACC honors.

Lowe is the second transfer addition for Pope's Wildcats this spring. Former Tulane wing Kam Williams committed to Kentucky on March 28.
Williams averaged 9.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game as a freshman for Tulane.
It will be interesting to see what Pope can do next season at Kentucky in his second year as head coach, but you can bet that Lowe is going to be a big part of the Wildcats' plans.
He was arguably Pitt's best player, and now he has a chance to shine on one of the biggest stages in college basketball for Big Blue Nation.
