The call was a pivotal moment in the game and gave the Badgers life. BYU was in control of the game at that point until Wisconsin was given two free throws and the ball back after the foul call. From that point on, BYU was holding on for dear life as Wisconsin went on a late run and cut into BYU's lead.
By rule, Baker was sent to the locker room after his ejection. He had to watch the last few minutes of the game from the locker room as BYU held on for the 91-89 victory. A camera from BYU's content team was setup in the locker room to capture the postgame celebrations. Instead, it captured the final moments of the game as Dawson Baker watched his team survive and advance.

Before his ejection, Baker had a major impact on the game. Baker was +15 in 17 minutes played, a game high. He finished with 8 points on 3/5 from the field and he added 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Baker was able to get into the paint and create problems for the Wisconsin defense. When he is scoring at that level, it adds another level of efficiency to the BYU offense.
Dawson Baker was a game-high +15 against Wisconsin. Baker was really crafty around the basket whether he was throwing lobs or finishing around the rim. https://t.co/rtRBOJlRD0
