Michael Jordan's Son Arrested on Troubling Charges: Report

Michael Jordan enjoyed a lot of success on the court during his legendary career with the Chicago Bulls in the NBA. Off the court, things haven't necessarily been as easy for Jordan, especially when it comes to his personal life. On Tuesday, his son Marcus Jordan found himself in some trouble with the law.

Unlike his father, Marcus opted not to pursue a career in basketball, playing three years with the UCF Knights in college before calling it quits. Since then, he graduated from UCF in 2013, opened his own high-end sneaker store "Trophy Room," and appeared on the second season of the reality game show "The Traitors."

From 2022 to 2024, Marcus was in a relationship with Larsa Pippen. Of course, Pippen was formerly married to Scottie Pippen, who was his father Michael's teammate during their dynastic run together in the NBA with the Bulls, which only added to the strained relationship between the two former teammates.

Marcus has a propensity for finding himself in controversial situations, and that happened again on Tuesday. The former UCF Knight was arrested after he got his car stuck on train tracks in Maitland, Florida, and he's since been charged with DUI, cocaine possession, and resisting arrest. He ended up getting released later in the day.

"Marcus Jordan was just released from custody," TMZ Sports reported on Tuesday. "Wearing a black sweatsuit with the hood up, Jordan didn't talk to reporters as he bolted from the facility in a blue Lamborghini SUV."

After getting his bond set at $4,000, it appears Marcus forked over that cash and was released a couple hours after this incident took place. However, he may not be out of the woods yet, as it will be worth keeping an eye out for details on his upcoming court hearing in regards to this situation.
