Being an older prospect that is undersized, Flagler will be a second-round consideration in the 2023 NBA Draft. The fifth-year senior had a fantastic career at Baylor after playing his first season at Presbyterian College. He’s a proven scorer that shines in big moments, but is not a player that projects to be a star at the next level.
He’s been one of the best player in the Big 12 for multiple seasons at this point, most notably as a sniper from beyond the arc. The past three years at Baylor, Flagler converted on over 40% of his 5.5 attempts per contest. He’s also a much improved passer and a pesky defender.
At 6-foot-3, Flagler will need to be extremely efficient at the next level to get minutes. If he is drafted this summer, it will definitely be in the second round. What’s most impressive about him is that multiple first-round caliber guards have come through Waco in the past few years and he’s still been a highly productive player.
It will be interesting to see how he fits at the next level, but there’s no denying Flagler was a fantastic college producer.
