USC Trojans basketball head coach Eric Musselman is experiencing his second offseason in Southern California and is looking to bring in another top recruiting class. This will be the first time at USC that he has had the opportunity to conduct the entire process with recruits while at the Trojans.
One of the 2026 recruits that Musselman is targeting is the No. 1 player in the state of Utah . Anthony Felesi is considering several schools, including the Louisville Cardinals and UCLA Bruins, as well as USC. The four-star recruit is still evaluating his options and considering all programs that are in close conversation.
One of those is the USC Trojans. Speaking to On3, he revealed why he loves the program, especially what head coach Eric Musselman can offer him.
I feed off that energy that Coach (Eric) Musselman brings," Felesi said. "I like to be coached hard, and what he has done over there is obvious. You know, he produces NBA players, and he has been doing it for a long time, so that is good as well.
His positive words indicate that USC is in a strong position when it comes to his recruitment, but there is still a long way to go. He also spoke about what he wants from a program, which matches what he discussed in Musselman.
“Probably the biggest thing I am looking for in a school is development," Felesi said to On3. "So if that means I have to stay all four years, or just one year, I want the development so I am ready to go to the next level. My main goal is the second and third contracts in the NBA. So I want to go to a school that is going to develop me to be ready,"
