The Lakers have agreed to a two-way contract with Miami (Ohio)’s Peter Suder, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype (Twitter link).
The 6’5″ senior guard, who went undrafted, was named MAC Player of the Year after leading his team to a 31-0 regular season. He averaged 14.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 33 games while shooting 54.6% from the field and 42.1% from three-point range.
Suder, who played two years at Bellarmine before transferring to Miami, was ranked 81st on ESPN’s top 100 prospects list. The Lakers are among the teams he worked out for prior to the draft.
The two-way deal was negotiated by Keith Kreiter and Sam Cipriano of Edge Sports, Scotto adds.
L.A. also reached a two-way agreement with AK Okereke earlier tonight.
