Pitt has reached out to another transfer that is available in the portal.

The Panthers staff has reached out to Michigan transfer Terrance Williams, a source confirmed to Pittsburgh Sports Now. 247HSHoops was the first to report Pitt’s interest in Williams.

Williams is a 6-foot-7, 225-pound senior out of Clinton, Maryland who averaged 12.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game this past season for the struggling Wolverines. Prior to his senior campaign, he had never averaged more than 6.1 points per game (did so as a junior). Williams is a career 34% shooter from three-point range and shot a career-best 39.7% from deep this year, making 52 of his 131 attempts from beyond the arch.

Pitt has reached out to more than ten transfers in the portal and has scheduled numerous visits. Visits with Brandon Johnson (now committed to Miami) and Brandon Huntley-Hatfield (NC State) were initially scheduled but then cancelled by the players. The Panthers are looking forward to hosting Cam Corhen, a Florida State transfer in April, and also received good news recently when UNC Greensboro transfer Mikeal Brown-Jones included the Panthers in his top three along with Kansas State and Ole Miss.
