Pitt will host another visitor in mid April as it tries to fill out its roster ahead of the 2024-25 season.

According to Joe Tipton of On3, the Panthers will host Louisville transfer Brandon Huntley-Hatfield for an official visit on April 19. Huntley-Hatfield is a former five-star big man who broke out this season in his third year of college basketball. He began his career at Tennessee, averaging just 3.9 points and 2.9 rebounds per game for the Volunteers.

He then transferred to Louisville, where he averaged 6.7 points as a sophomore. This year, he exploded for 12.9 points and 8.4 rebounds per game, shining on a sub-par Louisville squad. Huntley-Hatfield is a Clarksville, Tennessee native and stands at 6-foot-10, 240 pounds.

Huntley-Hatfield will reportedly visit NC State this week. Then, the week before he is set to visit Pitt, Huntley-Hatfield will be on campus in Bloomington, Indiana to visit the Hoosiers from March 12-13.

The Panthers have also reached out to transfers Michael Nwoko, Brandon Johnson (visit scheduled), Chris Manon, and several others. Track all of Pitt’s recruiting action this spring on The Portal Report at the link below!
