According to a report by Brad Everett of the Pittsburgh Union Progress, Pitt will add another walk-on for the 2024-25 season.
Some recruiting news: Hampton 6-9 senior forward Liam Mignogna just informed us that he will be walking on at Pitt next season. That’s a nice addition to the Pitt frontcourt. He had 23 points (including the 1,000th of his career) tonight. Cousin of former Pitt player Ryan Luther.

The Panthers will add Hampton big man Liam Mignogna. Mignogna, a 6-foot-9 forward, scored 23 points in Hampton’s state playoff game against Lincoln Park on Monday night in a rematch of the recent WPIAL final game. In that game at the Petersen Events Center, Mignogna powered his way inside to the tune of 20 points and nine rebounds. Mignogna has scored over 1,000 points in his high-school career.
Meleek Thomas draws the assignment of guarding Peter Kramer again tonight. Kramer has not yet scored, but 6-9 Liam Mignogna has nine points, including a 3-pointer, to give Hampton a 9-8 lead with 3:09 left in the first quarter. Beebah Cummings has 7 for LP. pic.twitter.com/omb9ENWAMC
