Per usual, Robert Morris men’s basketball is once again on the calendar of a high-major opponent in early November of its 2024-25 campaign.

The Colonials will take on West Virginia out of the Big 12 on Monday, Nov. 4 at the WVU Coliseum, which will mark the first game of the Darian DeVries era at WVU.

While this will serve as the season-opening contest for the Mountaineers, it is still unclear if this will be the first contest of the RMU season pending its finalized schedule, according to a program spokesperson.

Last season, the Colonials played early non-conference games against Xavier and Wisconsin. Prior to that, in the fall of 2022, RMU met with Ohio State and Dayton.

The time and broadcast for the WVU-RMU contest will be announced at a later date.

West Virginia leads the all-time series over Robert Morris, 19-2. This will mark the first time the schools have faced off since the 2010-11 season.
