The 2025 NBA draft is less than one week away, with the first round taking place on Wednesday, June 25 and the second round 24 hours later.
Gonzaga guard Ryan Nembhard has improved his draft stock over the past six weeks or so, performing well enough at the G-League Elite Camp to get an invite to the NBA draft combine, where his outside shooting, floor vision, and creative passing was on full display.
Nembhard now regularly shows up in the second round of mock drafts, with a range as high as the late 30's and as low as the final pick in the draft.
One notable team that picks in that range is the Indiana Pacers, who pick at No. 54 overall and could - at least according to Bryan Kalbrosky of USA TODAY's For The Win - reunite Ryan with his brother Andrew this upcoming NBA season.

It is gathered with intel from around the league and includes quotes given to me by top prospects (including Dylan Harper, Kon Knueppel, Jeremiah Fears, Cedric Coward, and more) about the pre-draft process.https://t.co/qmmgQ53YRx
Ryan's draft stock is likely impacted by the strong performance of his brother Andrew, himself an unheralded prospect who most felt wouldn't get drafted at all before the Pacers selected him with the first pick of the second round back in 2022.
Andrew immediately proved he was well worth the selection, earning All-Rookie honors and stepping into a crucial starting role for a team that is now one win away from an incredibly improbable NBA championship run.
The Pacers play Andrew off the ball with star Tyrese Haliburton running the point. Veteran T.J. McConnell and young guards Ben Sheppard and RayJ Dennis slot in at PG at times as well, but adding Ryan to the mix would give Indiana another ball-handler capable of playing right away who can take pressure off the starting group.
A Nembhard-to-Nembhard connection in the NBA would certainly be a fun story, although the competitive nature of both brothers might make it more fun to see them square off against each other at the game's highest level.
If Ryan goes to Cleveland, like ESPN had in their latest mock, a rematch of the Eastern Conference semifinals would add a familial element to the budding rivalry.
