South Carolina got some fortunate news of a transfer guard from the University of North Dakota.
On March 30, transfer guard Treysen Eaglestaff made his decision to move on from North Dakota and committed to the South Carolina Gamecocks.
A six-foot-six, 190-pound guard from Bismarck, North Dakota, Eaglestaff averaged 18.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists while having a field goal percentage of 41.6% in the 2024-2025 season for the Fighting Hawks.
Joe Tipton of On3 Sports announced on Wednesday morning that the North Dakota native de-committed from the SEC school and will test the transfer market again.

Before the senior guard's commitment to a new school, Eaglestaff drew multiple offers from schools in Power Four conferences – including Kansas, Kentucky, Iowa and many others.
Eaglestaff had impressive games for North Dakota that included a Summit League quarterfinal performance where he finished with 51 points, four rebounds and four assists while knocking down eight three-pointers.
The senior will enter the transfer portal again and will have to make a decision by the end of the window on April 22.
