Senior forward Spencer Jones has been named to the All-Pac-12 second team for the second consecutive year after what has been a stellar season for him individually.
He leads the team in scoring for the second consecutive season with 13.9 points, a number that bumps up to 15.4 points per game in Pac-12 play, which has him ranked as the No. 8 scorer in the conference. This season also saw him become the 50th member of the 1,000-point club this season, and he has moved into No. 26 spot on the all-time scoring list with 1,284 points.
In what has been another down season for Stanford, Jones has been one of the lone bright spots.
He and the Cardinal have a chance to make it to the March Madness tournament, but they will have to do so the hard way, which is winning the Pac-12 tournament. Their first game takes place in Las Vegas on Wednesday against an Utah team that they have split the season series with.
