The Tennessee Vols basketball program received some unfortunate news ahead of their matchup against the Virginia Cavaliers on Thursday.
According to a report from VolQuest , Tennessee guard Cameron Carr is expected to miss four to six weeks with a thumb injury.
Carr suffered the injury in the Vols' win against Austin Peay on Sunday.

Carr is a sophomore from Minnesota who played in 14 games for the Volunteers last season.
The 6-foot-6 guard is averaging 4.8 points per game and 1.5 rebounds per game through the first four games of the 2024-25 season.
Carr's injury timeline means he should be able to return to the court sometime in January.
