The next time a Quiz of the Day hits your inbox, men’s college basketball will be about to crown a new national champion.
The Final Four begins on Saturday in Indianapolis, with No. 2 UConn taking on No. 3 Illinois before a battle of No. 1-seeds between Arizona and Michigan to decide who will be the final team standing of the 68 selected way back on March 15.
While there are some who are viewing the Arizona vs. Michigan clash as the de facto National Championship, UConn head coach Dan Hurley has never lost a Final Four game heading into his third appearance and Illinois’ smothering defense hasn’t allowed more than 70 points in the NCAA Tournament.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the teams to win the NCAA men’s basketball Tournament since 1939 can you name in eight minutes?
Good luck!
