Louisville goes to Pitt and picks up another quality win. The Cards have won 6 in a row now since the Kentucky loss and are sitting 2nd in the ACC behind Duke.
This is an NCAA Tournament team. Incredible job by Pat Kelsey and staff to turn Louisville back into contenders in his…

Louisville goes on the road and knocks off Pitt.
Cards have now won six straight, including wins over UNC, Clemson + at Pitt, which is the upper part of the ACC.
Cards, maybe the second best team in the ACC?

Feels like Louisville is shooting 100% on shots after they get an offensive rebound.

#Pitt Jeff Capel fully deserves today’s loss. He knows how to find really good players but he is an awful in game coach. Anyone could stand there and watch give guys run around doing whatever they want. Rinse and repeat. This team is going nowhere

With the Panthers trailing by one point in the final four minutes of action, Pitt forced a Reyne Smith miss at the rim. Then, on the ensuing fastbreak, Dunn found Zack Austin — who had just five points so far in the game, for a corner three. Austin drained the three, giving Pitt a two-point lead. After Smith hit a three on the other end, Ishmael Leggett knocked down two free throws to tie the game at 75 with 2 minutes and change to play.
In the final two minutes, Smith gave the Cardinals the lead once again with a wide-open mid-range jumper. Then, after Pitt’s Lowe missed a layup, Louisville found Smith again for a three pointer. After Leggett hit a three for Pitt, the lead was two with one minute to play.
Louisville missed its chance for the leading bucket, but grabbed its 17th offensive rebound of the game. The Cardinals then looked to star guard Chucky Hepburn for the game-sealing bucket. He drove to the basket and drained the clincher. Louisville won 82-78.
