The UCLA Bruins have had quite a roller-coaster season. The team struggled to find its footing after the first few games of the season. They started strong with a 3-0 record but would go 3-7 in their next 10.

While the season seemed all but lost, they managed to band together to string together some impressive wins in the last month. The team was on a six-game win streak, before dropping back-to-back losses to Utah and USC.

The season is wrapping up, but the Bruins could find themselves in a position to make the NCAA Tournament. However, they will need to return to their tough playing to do so.

Star sophomore Will McClendon talked to reporters about the final games. He was asked if the team has had conversations about the finality of the season coming.

"Yeah, absolutely. I think it's also the elephant in the room. The season is almost over. There's not a lot of room for error anymore. So, we are just trying to get in and get better."

McClendon is correct in stating that there is no more room for error. The team will need to clean up their game to ensure they win out and make the NCAA Tournament.

The team has shown some big toughness in recent weeks, but the last two losses might be the proverbial nail in the coffin for the team this season. They do have a chance to make it, though it will happen only if they can create the magic they did on their six-game win streak.
