The UK transfer would fill a position of need.

Last night, John Calipari accepted a deal to become the next head coach at Arkansas. He had been in Lexington for 15 seasons, leading the program to a national title and four Final Fours. In turn, UK center Aaron Bradshaw entered his name into the transfer portal.

UNC Getting Involved

According to our source, @trillydonovan on X, who is one of, if not the top insider in college basketball, North Carolina is expected to get involved with the big man. Bradshaw stands at 7’1, 226-pounds, and was the number-one ranked center in the 2023 class. He is an athletic, rim-running, shot-blocking big. Bradshaw can also step outside and knock down threes.

Against North Carolina in December, he scored 12 points and grabbed three rebounds.

This season, he averaged 4.9 points and 3.3 rebounds in 13.8 minutes per game. However, Bradshaw dealt with a major foot injury early, and saw his minutes decrease as the season progressed. With a full offseason to work injury-free, he will be able to get back into form.

Position of Need

UNC is in major need of a center. Armando Bacot is out of eligibility, and James Okonkwo is transferring. That leaves only Jalen Washington at the five. Bradshaw would be an instant-impact player for the Tar Heels.
