In the fall of 2015, the Miami Hurricanes were unranked and coming off a solid 25-13 (10-8) season, and by March of 2006 the Hurricanes were 27-8 (13-5) and were tied for 10th in the AP poll. The Hurricanes were a very balanced team with nine players averaging over 10 minutes per game, and only Angel Rodriguez and Sheldon McClellan played over 30 minutes per game. The 2015-16 Canes made it to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Tournament before falling to the eventual national champions.
