Dylan Cardwell just rocked the rim on an Allen Flanigan assist.

The Tigers are up 31-26 on the Ole Miss Rebels, who enter tonight's contest just 2-12 in the SEC. After a choppy start Auburn went on a run to stretch the lead - but Kermit Davis' squad has since climbed back into this one.

Plays like Cardwell's slam are keeping the crowd in it.

Series history

Auburn leads the all-time series over Ole Miss 79-62, with a 51-17 mark at home and a 27-41 mark on the road.

Despite the Tigers' recent success, the Rebels have continued to be a thorn in Auburn's side. The Tigers lead the series 6-4 in the last 10 contests. Bruce Pearl's squad enters tonight having won the last three straight. Two of the last eight games have gone to overtime, with Auburn losing on a last-second shot in the last OT affair.

During the most recent contest in Neville Arena, Walker Kessler set the Auburn season record for blocked shots and Zep Jasper scored a season-high 15 points.
