On Saturday, the BYU Cougars took care of business in dramatic fashion against No. 3 Wisconsin to advance to the Sweet 16.
One player absent from the on-court celebration after John Tonje’s shot fell short was junior guard Dawson Baker , who was ejected in the game’s final minutes.
In a heads-up play from the NCAA’s March Madness crew, the social media team set up cameras in BYU’s locker room in an effort to catch the team’s post-game celebration. In reality, they caught an incredible moment beforehand, watching Dawson Baker react to the final moments of the BYU vs. Wisconsin game.

Baker’s ejection sparked a bit of controversy on social media, with many calling out the officiating crew for the move. The California native received a flagrant 2 for throwing an errant elbow while trying to split a double team, which collided with the groin of one of Wisconsin’s players.
While the call may not have been worthy of a flagrant 2 in the eyes of most college basketball fans, Baker will have the opportunity to return to the court in the Sweet 16 matchup vs. either No. 2 Alabama or No. 7 St. Mary’s.
