Tyrese Proctor and Kon Knueppel each scored 14 points and combined for 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the Blue Devils. Duke shot 53.2% from the field and held SMU to 34.3% shooting. Kevin "Boopie" Miller paced the Mustangs with 21 points and 5 dimes.
