Georgia Tech controlled the game from the opening tip, rolling past Florida A&M 89–65 behind a dominant first half and balanced scoring, including six players in double-digits. The Yellow Jackets built a 22-point halftime lead and never let it slip, shooting over 60 percent from the field for the game. Baye Ndongo led the way with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Caleb Kelley III was perfect from the floor and capped the night with a late 6–0 burst to close it out. Kelley III finished with 14 points on 5-5 shooting, including 2-2 from 3-point land.
