Matthew Cleveland put an exclamation point on Florida State’s 85-84 victory over No. 13 Miami. A huge buzzer beater after what looked like a dagger three from the Canes in the closing seconds sealed the win for FSU. The victory marks Florida State’s first win in the Watsco Center in five trips. The Hurricanes went into halftime with a commanding 54-31 advantage, but it was a tale of two halves. The Hurricanes outscored the Noles 18-0 in fast break points in the first period, only for the script to flip: FSU beat Miami 14-0 on fast break points in half number two. Cleveland and Darin Green Jr. each finished with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Caleb Mills added 13 points and 5 assists, while Jalen Warley had 11 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. For Miami, Jordan Miller led all scorers with 21 points, while Norchad Omier had 15 points and 8 rebounds.
