The rabid fans in Lawrence didn't need any help getting hyped up ahead of No. 8 Kansas' matchup against No. 4 Houston on Saturday.
Before tipoff, Jayhawk nation nearly blew the roof off Allen Fieldhouse, shaking the arena to its core with cheers as they jumped up and down in anticipation of the heavyweight tilt between two top-10 teams.

It's one thing to be amped and ready to go moments before the opening whistle. However, Jayhawk fans are a different breed.
More than an hour before the game, while the rest of the arena lay dormant, the student section was packed to the brim with fans, prepared to do their part to help guide Kansas to a victory.
