LSU vs. SMU: The Mustangs won their fifth consecutive game to move to 9-2 on the season after defeating SEC foe LSU, 74-64. Four SMU players notched double figures led by Matt Cross who dropped 16 points and grabbed 16 boards with a block and a steal for SMU. Samet Yigitoglu and B.J. Edwards each scored 12 points, with Edwards also racking up 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the Mustangs. Chuck Harris also chipped in 11 points as SMU will now begin conference play next Saturday at Boston College.
