Michigan St. lost one important member of its bench during the second half of the Spartans' first-round NCAA Tournament win against USC on Friday.
During a timeout, after a "heated conversation with the official," Spartans head coach Tom Izzo proceeded to obliterate a whiteboard used for drawing up plays, snapping the piece in half using only his hands. Izzo was reportedly also frustrated with the team's three-point defense against the Trojans.

This isn't the first time that the longtime Michigan St. leader has gone viral for a sideline outburst this season. Izzo received a particularly festive technical foul during a Spartans win over Oakland in the days leading up to Christmas.
Fortunately for Michigan St., the lost whiteboard didn't impact the final score. Izzo and company knocked off the 10th-seeded Trojans, 72-62. The seventh-seeded Spartans will play the winner of No. 2 Marquette and No. 15 Vermont in the second round on Sunday.
