The Miami Hurricanes completed an incredible season before the NCAA Tournament by winning both the ACC regular season and men's basketball tournament championships. The Hurricanes, led by Shane Larkin, defeated North Carolina 87-77 in the championship game. Larkin had 28 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and two steals on his way to being named the tournament MVP. Trey McKinney-Jones added 20 points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals for Miami. P.J. Hairston led UNC with 28 points., three rebounds, and two steals. This was the Hurricanes' first-ever ACC Tournament Championship.
