The Fighting Irish won their first true road game since February 2022 by defeating the Yellow Jackets in Atlanta, 75-68 in overtime. Georgia Tech's Baye Ndongo hit a three-pointer with 5.5 seconds left to force overtime. In the extra period, it was all Notre Dame, outscoring Georgia Tech 9-2. Freshman Braeden Shrewsberry led the Fighting Irish, scoring a career-high 25 points. Fellow freshman Markus Burton had 12 points, seven assists, and three rebounds. For Georgia Tech, Miles Kelly hit seven three-pointers on his way to scoring 25 points. Ndongo finished the game with 16 points and nine rebounds.
