College basketball season is just getting started, but it's already provided a highlight worth remembering for a long time. UC Riverside was facing a two-point deficit with just 1.7 seconds left against Arizona State, but that was enough time for senior foward J.P. Moorman II to heave a shot from three quarters of the court.
Moorman drilled it to give UC Riverside a 66-65 victory.

UC Riverside opened their season with a 66-53 loss to San Diego State and entered Thursday as a 9.5-point underdog against ASU. The long shot from Moorman to win the game was UC Riverside's fourteenth made three-pointer of the game. ASU made just five three-pointers.
Moorman transferred to UC Riverside from Temple, where he played for four years and was a team captain.
