The 2022 Everett Case Award for the ACC Men's Basketball Tournament Most Valuable Player was given to Virginia Tech guard Hunter Cattoor. Cattoor had a career night in the championship game win over Duke, scoring 31 points on 11-16 shooting, including 7-9 from behind the three-point arc. For the four games in the tournament, he averaged 12.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 1 assist per game.
