The resurgent Louisville Cardinals continued their hot streak with their 81-67 win over the Virginia Cavaliers in front of an extremely spirited crowd in the Yum Center. Reyne Smith came out firing and scored 12 of his game-tying 19 points in the first half. Terrence Edwards Jr. added 16 points and 6 rebounds while J'Vonne Hadley scored 13 points and James Scott scored 12 for Pat Kelsey's squad. Elijah Saunders led the Cavaliers with 19 points.
