Ninth-seeded Wake Forest earned some revenge against eighth-seeded Syracuse in a dramatic 77-74 victory to advance to the quarterfinals. Daivien Williamson provided some heroics by hitting a game-winning three with less than a second to go to pick up the biggest points of his 17-point outing. He’d also grab 6 boards and dish out a pair of assists while hitting 4 of his 10 shots from beyond the arc. Bobi Klintman’s tournament debut was fantastic, as the freshman had a 17-point, 11-rebound double double. Both Judah Mintz and Benny Williams scored 18 in the loss for the Orange.
