Wes Miller had great news in his first comments the 68-60 loss to Villanova earlier in the week. He provided the latest update on star forward Dan Skillings Jr. and his knee procedure recovery.

Skillings has not played since the first game of the season, but could play on Sunday against Howard.

“We’re now day-day," Miller said on his weekly 700 WLW radio show. "He is heading in the right direction.”

Cincinnati's offense got shut down on the road against the Wildcats and it'd surely welcome back Skillings' help on that front. UC will be a huge home betting favorite against Howard on Sunday, and would love to have all hands on deck against Xavier next Saturday.
