The No. 12 Auburn Tigers (No. 4 seed) beat the No. 6 seed Florida Gators 86-67 to win the SEC Tournament Championship.

What did Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl have to say after the game?

Baker-Mazara talked about holding off Florida after the Gators cut the lead to one in the second half.

"It's a game of runs," Baker-Mazara said. "At the same time, of course, there's a four-day playing. I feel like at that point, when they made their run, we had fresh, new guys come in. I feel like the guys who came in just turned it up a whole different notch. Well executed, stayed calm, stayed composed. We stayed composed, came out there, executed."

Baker-Mazara talked about talking to his family right after the game.

"I was on the phone with my dad," Baker-Mazara said. "Sadly he couldn't make it up here today. I was just showing him that I made the All-Tournament team. It was a special moment. I know they're super proud of me and very happy. I just wanted to share a moment with both of them because I miss them."

There were a lot of concerns about how Baker-Mazara would adjust to the SEC. He made the all-tournament team.

"I mean, I know people, some people, didn't believe in myself, but I did," Baker-Mazara said. "I've been playing Division I before. This is not my first time. I played against top Power Five schools. The coaches and the players, they all believed in me."

Auburn will find out its region, seeding and opponent during the NCAA Tournament Selection Show on ESPN at 5 p.m. CT.
