TCU men's basketball's 2022-23 leading scorer Mike Miles took part in the NBA draft combine over the past week looking to better his stock. He was one of 78 prospects to be invited. Miles took part in all measurements, drills, and scrimmages.
Here is how he measured:
(67 of the Combine participants were measured)
Hand Width (Inches): 8.25 (T-60th of 67)
Height W/O Shoes: 6'0.75" (67th of 67)
Standing Reach: 8'0.00" (67th of 67)
Weight (LBS): 205.0 (41st of 67)
Wingspan: 6'0.50" (67th of 67)
Miles impressed with his ability to score the ball and create from all levels during scrimmage work. He tested very athletic for his size as well adding a vertical leap of 33.0 inches. However, size, inconsistency, and the ability to guard multiple positions remain points of concern for teams.
Here is where Miles ranks on notable NBA Draft Big Boards:
FanSided: 53rd Overall
The Sporting News: 54th Overall
ESPN: 65th Overall (10th PG)
NBADraft.net: 75th Overall
The Athletic: 77th Overall
Miles is currently projected as a second-round pick with player comparisons like Jalen Brunson, Cole Anthony, Payton Pritchard, and even a style similar to Damian Lillard.
