Size.

Wisconsin’s win over Montana was helped by being stronger, bulkier, and bigger in the interior.

No one’s pushing around the 6-7, 230-pound Keba Keita or the 6-6, 254-pound Fousseyni Traore.

It’s a BYU team that blasts away inside, and takes and makes the threes that are there - it was No. 1 in the Big 12 in both attempts and made threes.

Combine that with second chance points, the ability to create points in a hurry off of bit plays in the interior, and this bunch can keep pace against anyone.

Why Wisconsin Will Win

The Badgers have to find the defensive intensity in a hurry.

They have it, but they’re more about making sure the offense gets into a flow and the threes drop. They need John Tonje to get going after a relatively quiet - for him - last few games. But again, this is about the D.
