LSU women’s basketball a top contender for five-star guard Keeley Parks

Nearly one full year ago, LSU women’s basketball managed to put together one of the best class of 2023 groups we’ve ever seen. Then, after a largely relaxed 2024 cycle, focus has shifted to the class of 2025.

While the Tigers don’t yet have any commitments in the upcoming cycle, it’s not for a lack of effort. Coach Kim Mulkey’s squad is in the running for several of the top recruits in the country, and most recently added another talented guard to the list.

Earlier today, five-star guard Keeley Parks released a list of her top-15 schools, and right up near the top were the purple and gold.

Parks, a talented guard out of Norman, OK, is rated as a five-star recruit and the No. 19 player nationally, according to the espnW rankings. Additionally, she’s the No. 2 player out of Oklahoma, as well as No. 8 at her position.

Standing at 5-foot-11, the Norman High School standout is a lights out shooter with solid dribbling ability. Furthermore, when the need arises, she’s an exceptional shot creator, displaying consistent ability to get to the rim at will.

Along with the Tigers, Parks included several other top women’s basketball programs in her top-15, including Baylor, Colorado, Tennessee, UCLA and Virginia Tech.
