Florida State's Ta'Niya Latson and Notre Dame's Hanney Hidalgo are not just two of the best players in the ACC, they are two of the best players in the nation. Both players are averaging an NCAA-leading 26.1 points per game heading into the Thursday, February 5th games. They are averaging more than a full point higher than Juju Watkins who is third in the country in scoring. Latson does lead Hidalgo in total points scored, 549 to 495, but she's played in two more games this season.. With eight more games left in the season for both, the race for ACC Player of the Year and Naismith Women's College Player of the Year will be a fun one to follow.
