At home in South Bend, the Fighting Irish, playing at full strength for the first time this season, defeated the Mustangs, 88-64. Hannah Hidalgo returned to play for the first time in 10 days and this was the first time Notre Dame had Hidalgo, Olivia Miles, Sonia Citron, Maddy Westbeld, and Liatu King all on the court together. Hidalgo had a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds, to go with five steals. Miles also had a double-double with 17 points 10 rebounds, and six assists. For SMU, Zanai Jones had 20 points, five rebounds, and five assists.
