2023 NFL Combine: When Will Defensive Lineman And Linebackers Workout?
USA TODAY Sports

One of the most important events of the pre-draft process is just around the corner and two former Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will be participating in this year's NFL Combine.

Keion White and Charlie Thomas were perhaps the two most impactful players for last year's Georgia Tech defense and both are going to have a chance to raise their draft stock next week.

So when will both players be on the field in Indianapolis next week?

The early report date for defensive linemen and linebackers according to nflcombine.net is this Sunday, February 26th. Both of these positions will be working out and on the field simultaneously and their schedules will be tied together. On Monday, the linebackers and defensive linemen will go through registration, pre-exam, team interviews, and orientation. Tuesday, there will be more interviews with teams, as well as a general medical exam and pre-ordered studies. Wednesday will be another day filled with an ortho exam, a meeting with the NFLPA, and interviews with teams and the media.

Then the action begins on Thursday for the defensive linemen and linebackers.

On-field workouts and measurements will take place on Thursday and then their week at the Combine will wrap up with the bench press workout and broadcast interviews.

You can watch both players workout on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. on NFL Network.

White finished the 2022 season with 7.5 sacks and 54 tackles and was one of the most impactful players on the Georgia Tech defense. I think he is going to continue to enjoy a good predraft process and be a guy that rises up draft boards even further after the combine.

Last season, Thomas had 112 tackles, two sacks, two pass deflections, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles.

Thomas is not being talked about as a first-round pick, but that does not mean that the combine is not just as meaningful. Thomas can raise his profile with good workouts and interviews and I can't wait to see what he brings to Indianapolis.

Good luck to both players next week!
