2025 NFL Draft Grades: NFC East
Thomas Salus-Imagn Images

In this article, we’re looking back at the 2025 NFL Draft, and in the moment, how the NFC East’s teams did to help either build on a strong roster or continue to rebuild, as two teams made the playoffs and two were on the outside looking in last season. Truth be told, I really have liked what a lot of the teams did in the draft. I saw a lot of needs addressed, and I think the NFC East is no different.

I look at grading in two different lanes, one is the immediate spur-of-the-moment on how a team addressed needs, while not reaching (based on my evaluations). The second is more of a long-term approach on how a front office has drafted over the last 3-5 years, once we see how picks have panned out.

2025 NFL Draft Grades: NFC East

Dallas Cowboys

Draft picks

For a team that has some high-end talent but also a ton of needs, Dallas pulled in some really intriguing talent. I love their top 4 picks, and the rest are depth with question marks. So I think those top four 3 have day one starter potential, but my favorite pick would be Shavon Revel Jr, if he’s healthy, and hits that’s a huge steal for a player that was considered a day one pick if healthy. GRADE: B+ with A potential…

New York Giants

Draft picks

This draft turned out really well in my opinion, I could see their first 5 picks making an impact immediately, with my favorite later round pick could be huge in Marcus Mbow. Dart can sit from the beginning, and if the Russ/Winston experiment isn’t working, turn it over to your rookie after the bye week and let him get some live reps. GRADE: A

Philadelphia Eagles

Draft picks

No Georgia player until the 5th round?!?! For a team that has it all, they didn’t reach and just took the best players when their pick came up. I love what Philly does almost every year, they add talent that doesn’t have to start but can develop over time, and this class looks like one of those classes that could see a few foundational pieces that begin taking over starter reps in a couple of seasons. GRADE: B

Washington Commanders

Draft picks

The Commanders didn’t have much to work with, but still addressed some big needs early. Conerly and Amos should step in from day one and contribute meaningful reps, where the rest are depth players that will need to start on special teams to see much in 2025. GRADE: B-
