The 2025 NFL Draft is right around the corner, and we've got you covered with in-depth scouting reports on all of the top prospects at every position in this year's class.
Here's everything you need to know about Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka:
Height: 6-1
Weight: 206
Age: 22
A well-rounded pass-catcher with a polished skill set, Egbuka has all the traits to make an immediate impact at the next level. His refined technique, sharp route-running ability and reliable hands check some of the most important boxes when it comes to consistent production at the next level. Egbuka has the versatility to line up outside or in the slot, and his instincts and intelligence allow him to set up defenders for failure both at the line of scrimmage and downfield. He’s got tons of starting experience against top competition, so Egbuka will be well-prepared for the NFL game.
While he’s a sound player who does all the little things well, Egbuka lacks the elite size, athleticism and explosiveness that set apart the top receivers in this year’s class. His lack of a dominant physical trait could limit his upside in the NFL, and his lean frame could cause him problems against bigger, more physical defenders in the pros. Durability could also be a concern as he makes the jump to the next level, having dealt with nagging injuries in the past.

Egbuka was the Robin to Marvin Harrison Jr. and Jeremiah Smith’s Batman in Columbus, and he’s best suited for that kind of role in the NFL, as a solid No. 2 option in the passing game. He may not be a game-breaking superstar at the position, but he’s got an extremely high floor as a reliable target who knows how to get open and catch every ball that comes his way.
