As I continue my lists of top players to watch this season for the 2025 NFL Draft, I look at (and have moved some players around) my list of top 20 wideouts. I have a list of about 75/80 that I am keeping an eye on this season but below is my top 20 players.

NOTE: You’ll not see Colorado’s Travis Hunter but he is a DB/WR so I figured I’d rank him on my DBs but he’d be DB1 OR WR1 at this point. He’s a difference-maker no matter what position they use him in, so it’s almost a foregone conclusion he’s a top 5 pick in this next draft (no matter what Coach says about where he will play).

I think the top 3 are in a tier of their own, they are difference makers that could step in from day 1 and make an impact for whatever teams draft them. These wideouts are all differing in their styles, Burden has elite athleticism in a smaller package, McMillan is a big strong wideout with excellent hands and route running ability, whereas Egbuka is explosive and great in the short to medium areas of the field (I think potential YAC monster!).
The next grouping of Stewart, Bond, and McCoy could be (and are) viewed differently depending on whom you follow. Bond and Stewart are still rated pretty highly but McCoy tends to be outside the top 10 for a lot of people. My love for McCoy stems from how he’s looked and produced as Tennessee’s X receiver, he has great size/speed for a 6’3” wideout who also does well route running, has great hands, and has become a reliable target in that offense. He has a chance to be a day-two NFL Draft prospect, and I think with a solid 2024 season that could be a reality.
Don’t get me wrong, I still see McCoy at the bottom of that tier of wideouts but my top 6 guys that I see as day 1/2 potential players, and after that, I keep shuffling players around but feel like I’ve honed in on my top 20 wideouts at this point.
